Current High School Student

GCC’s Dual Enrollment Accelerated Learning (DEAL) program allows eligible students to enroll in college courses concurrently with high school classes and to receive both high school and college credit simultaneously. GCC has DEAL program agreements with Guam's five public high schools, with Father Duenas Memorial School, Notre Dame High School, and with the Home School Association of Guam.

Requirements to be eligible for dual enrollment:

• Student must be at least 14 years old
• Approval of high school principal and GCC counselor
• Written approval of parent/guardian
• Meet course prerequisites for enrollment in DEAL courses (if applicable)
• *FDMS requires students to have a minimum 3.0 GPA to participate
• Students must complete all college courses with a grade of “C” or better to continue in the DEAL program
• A completed dual enrollment application form is required every semester of enrollment.

Dual Enrollment Registration Process:

1. Complete an Application for Admission (Online). Please include a copy of your photo ID if you are submitting via email to gcc.registrar@guamcc.edu. 
2. Complete a Dual Enrollment Application
3. Students accepted into the program may apply for GCC's Classroom Learning Yields Math & English Readiness (CLYMER) program (where they skip the placement test because of good grades in higher-level high school math or English courses) or they may take GCC’s placement test.
   • If the student takes the placement test and place into one of the college courses on the DEAL list, the student will register at GCC and enroll in the course/courses.
   • If the student is approved for the CLYMER program, the student may directly enroll in the college course/courses.
4. Pay Tuition and Fees in Full. You will be dropped from all of your courses if you fail to pay your tuition in full by the due date. Save time and pay online via MyGCC.
5. Obtain a Picture ID.
6. Buy Textbooks.
